In order to be eligible, Students willing to participate in the High School Program must fulfill the following requirements :
Age – The schools are able to accept students between the ages of 15-18.
ACADEMIC ABILITY – Each student must have good passing grades in his/her home country. Students with lower grades might be considered on a case by case basis. During the booking procedure we will require a teacher’s evaluation as well as the school’s principal acknowledgment from the actual student’s school.
ENGLISH/GERMAN ABILITY – Although the language level is important and essential for this program, all students will be considered for the program regardless of English level. ESL is offered in several schools to the students with a lower English level. German Gymnasiums require a minimum B2 level.
The students who have lower English abilities and need ESL classes while attending school may find it available at some private high schools.
Students are encouraged to do an intensive language programme prior the start of the AYP in order to start the academic programme with a more fluent language ability.
Before booking, we must receive the grades reports of the last two years and the current one in order to evaluate the student and offer a place in one of the schools. A language test will be requested during the booking procedure.
